The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program – Information Session


The Knight-Hennessy Scholars programme is a graduate-level scholarship aimed at preparing the next generation of global leaders to address the increasingly complex challenges facing the world.

Derrick Bolton, Dean of Admission, will be present to share more information about the scholarship programme. Application is open for Fall 2020 enrollment.

Rhodes Scholarship – Information Session

The Rhodes Scholarship is the oldest (first awarded in 1902) and perhaps the most prestigious international scholarship programme, enabling outstanding young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford.

Rhodes Scholars Professor Andrew Wee (National Secretary for Singapore for the Rhodes Scholarship and Vice President, University & Global Relations, NUS) and Chen Show Mao (Member of Parliament for the Aljunied GRC) will discuss the Rhodes Scholarship, including information on how to apply.

Note that alumni who are interested in applying from the United States or Canada jurisdictions will require letters of institutional endorsement from the College, so be sure to discuss your application with CIPE at the earliest opportunity.

Yenching Academy of Peking University


Yenching Academy will begin accepting applications for the 2020 Cohort starting from August 15, 2019 and the general application deadline is December 06, 2019.

Helena Auerswald (Class of 2019) is the first Yale-NUS student to be selected as a Yenching Scholar, enrolling in the interdisciplinary Master’s in China Studies programme.

Please note that all student and alumni who are keen to apply for the scholarship must do so through Yale-NUS College (CIPE). If you are interested to apply, please contact Nilanjana Pal for more information.
